The Garmin Foretrex 201 is a wrist-mounted navigator that offers you hands-free GPS navigation in a lightweight and waterproof package. It is lighter than most sports watches and it is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The Foretrex 201 is perfect for kayaking, skiing, hiking, hang gliding or for any activity that you do and want your hands free.

No matter where you may roam, you won't have to worry about becoming lost when you have the Foretrex 201 strapped onto your wrist. The Foretrex 201 keeps track of your path and displays your route as a tiny dotted trail on the screen. For finding your way back to your campsite or vehicle, just simply turn on the TracBack feature and you'll be able to retrace your path back to where you started from.

You are able to save favorite locations in the memory as waypoints - up to 500 of them, so you will always find your way back to a favorite location you discovered while out exploring. For keeping track of your trip, the Foretrex 201 uses a trip computer, sunrise and sunset times and offers you hunting and fishing info.

The Garmin Foretrex 201 is ideal of the sailor. For sailing races or other competitions, you are able to set the timers to count down the start sequence of a race and the unit will sound audible alarms when a certain amount of time has passed.

The Garmin Foretrex is built tough and is IPX7 waterproof, so it can take a dunk in the lake and will operate in a downpour. This great little handheld navigator won't break your budget and is weighs a mere 2.75 ounces. The Garmin Foretrex has a GPS accuracy of 50 feet or less in normal mode and 10 feet or less when WAAS-enabled.
