With the Garmin GPSMAP 545s, you won’t be disappointed as it provides amazing accuracy and reliablility and is packed with features to please the both seasoned sailor or the weekend boater.
If you own a boat that is between 17 and 25 feet, then Garmin GPSMAP 545s may be just the perfect unit for you. The 545s is not only a chartplotter and a 500/1,000 watt fishfinder, it can also use the optional GXM-31 antenna for real-time weather and audio from XM.
The 545s comes equipped with an impressive, ultra-bright color 5 inch diagonal VGA display with a 640 x 480 resolution. The display dims automatically for easy readability in changing light conditions.
The Garmin GPSMAP 545s comes with a built-in GPS antenna to accurately display your position on Garmin’s latest G2 chart detail and built-in satellite imagery for coastal United States, Alaska, Hawaii and the Bahamas.
This unit features a dual-frequency, 500 or 1,000 watt sounder. Included with the 545s is a transom mount transducer with depth and temperature capabilities.
With the transom mount transducer the GPSMAP 545s gives you depth readings of up to 1,500 feet.

The Garmin GPSMAP 545s has audible alarms for anchor drag, arrival to a destination, 10 proximity waypoints, and clock as well as an alarm for low battery voltage.
The Garmin 545s is loaded with memory for waypoints and tracks and can store up to 3,000 waypoints with name and graphical symbols and 10,000 track log points. The 545s can save your routes and can store 50 of them-all reversible with up to 300 per route.
