The Garmin GPSMAP 430s chartplotter certainly doesn’t disappoint with it’s features. You get detail of more than 5,000 lakes in this compact and sleek unit. The 430s comes pre-loaded to display the details of inland lakes showing depth contours, boat ramps, marinas, markers and hazards. The GPSMAP 430s’s 4 inch QVGA display screen is crystal clear and crisp and can be viewed in the all lighting conditions.
The built in antenna on the Garmin GPSMAP 430s is perfect for any open boat, and the BNC connection for the GA-29 remote antenna (optional) allows great reception for the boat that sports a T-top or a hard top.
The GPSMAP 430s comes ready to go with a dual beam, 400 watt sounder. Included is a transom mount transducer with depth and temperature sensing ability. The GPSMAP 430s will give you depth readings up to 900 feet.
The Garmin GPSMAP 430s comes with an impressive 2X, 4X and bottom lock zoom and Auto Gain technology which greatly improves target visibility while keeping the operation simple.
The Garmin GPSMAP 430s is compatible with the G2 Vision data cards. The BlueChart G2 data provides detailed coastlines, navaids, ports, depth contours, wrecks, and areas that are off-limit, as well as giving you current tide data.
The Garmin GPSMAP 430s is compatible with the optional Garmin GXM-31 XM weather antenna.
The XM Satellite Weather is a monthly subscription that provides access to Real Time weather such as NEXRAD radar, current weather forecasts, sea surface temperatures, wind and wave conditions, lightning and more.
The GPSMAP 430s also comes equipped with audible alarms for anchor drag, arrival to a destination, 10 proximity waypoints and a clock as well as low battery voltage.
The Garmin 430s is loaded with memory for waypoints and tracks and can store up to 3,000 waypoints and 10,000 track log points. The Garmin GPSMAP 430s can save and store 50 routes for you.
